Our Teachers

Taryn Daley

Taryn is a dedicated piano and vocal teacher with a decade of teaching experience and a special passion for bringing fun to her lessons.  She is known for her intense, lively teaching style, and bases her method on the unique abilities and tastes of her students.   She is well versed in classical, sacred music, rock, gospel, country and blues and has a strong background in theory and ear training.  She teaches in several music schools across the Pioneer Valley, conducts choirs, and performs professionally across the region.

Bryan Daley

Drums / Percussion: Bryan is a seasoned percussionist who performs regularly and loves to teach.  His great sense of rhythm and fun make him a favorite in the classroom.  Unique among drummers in his versatility and musicianship, Bryan has a strong background in rock, fusion, and improvisation.  He demands great progress from students, pushing their capabilities while giving them the time of their lives in lessons.  Bryan is wonderful with adults, teens, tweens and young children.

Ryan Emken

Ryan is a saxophonist/woodwind doubler and music educator from Westfield Massachusetts who works as an active musician in groups such as Brass Attack, Interplay, Tenorplay, Wolfman Conspiracy, and the Amherst Jazz Orchestra, among other groups in the region. He attended Westfield State University and earned his BA in Jazz Studies and worked for a number of years as a tenor saxophonist on several cruise ships for Royal Caribbean Cruise Lines. He resides in Western Massachusetts and teaches private saxophone in addition to working with a number of communities middle and high school groups. Ryan is currently finishing his Post-Baccalaureate in Music Education at Westfield State University.
